US. Post Office
Rice Street, Lihue Hawaii 96766
When Lihu`e was recognized as having a Post Office, is unclear. Records date back to 1868. However, even in 1866, Lihu`e already served as the main point for distributing mail throughout the island. Paul Isenberg was one of the managers of the Lihu`e Plantation and kept the Post Office in his plantation office for a short time.
