The State of Hawai`i building is Located on Hardy and `Eiwa streets. Construction began on August 17, 1968 by the Mars Construction Company. A unique and special feature of the building was an underground garage parking lot with 32 stalls and a unique art sculpture along Hardy Street. Some of the offices housed in this building include: Governor’s Liaison, Departments of Taxation, Education and Human Services. Marriage licenses and camping permits for State Park areas can be obtained here.
